Broken English Club is coming to Kazan straight from London – an incredibly catchy link between techno music and post-punk, a creation of a relentless Englishman Oliver Ho, with multiple releases on the core dark labels like the American Cititrax and L.I.E.S and regular performances at the main European festivals such as Flow, Dekmantel, and others. Ho made his debut in early 1996 and became an important part of the new generation of British techno scene that drew inspiration from the rich legacy of the industrial and punk scene.
You can easily recognize the musical heritage of the British post-punk school, classical Belgian EBM and heavy industrial tunes in Broken English Club. With the monotonous voice, synthesizers and almost deafening sound of the bass drum he turns his performances into the dark rituals and one of them awaits the Werk dancefloor.
